Transfer of Credits
IWU's Transfer of Credits Policy was designed so we could accept as many Ivy Tech course credits as possible toward your BS degree. Our policy allows earned coursework credits to transfer from any Ivy Tech school if:
- You earned a C or better.
- The course number is 100 or higher.
- The course is not remedial, pre-college or developmental.
This means technical courses will be considered for transfer if they meet the above criteria.
Also, credits awarded from other regionally-accredited colleges or universities may be considered for transfer if they meet the above criteria and do not duplicate a major core course requirement. Credits awarded for life experience or portfolios will not transfer, but may be earned through IWU portfolio process.
Up to 94 credits may transfer toward the 124 credits required to earn a BS at Indiana Wesleyan University.
