Certificate Programs

The College of Adult and Professional Studies offers four Certificate Programs. Certificates may be earned in the following areas by completing 15 credit hours in that area:

  • Certificates enable students to focus their elective requirements on specific career-oriented areas.
  • The Certificate area will be noted on the student's transcript.
  • Certificates are available to students in the baccalaureate and associate programs, and to students who are registered as unclassified students.
  • A Certificate requires 15 credit hours from the selected or equivalent courses.
  • 9 of the 15 hours must be taken at IWU. (for degree seeking students)
  • A grade of C or better must be earned in each course.
  • Students may contact their Student Services Advisor with further questions.
