Student Teaching Experience
You will work with a supervising teacher who has a minimum of three years of experience and is recommended by the building administrator. This experience will be coordinated with a school in your community.
To accomplish this we would like to know which schools are conveniently located near your home or place of employment.
Please fill out the "Student Teaching Experience Form" which is on the application. We will contact these schools and find one that is willing and able to give you the teaching experience you need to fulfill this part of your CBE course requirements. Do not contact the schools on your own behalf. For some schools a resume is mandatory so we require all students to submit a current resume with this form.
During your classroom experience you will be assessed in the areas of instruction, assessment, and classroom management.
