M.Ed. Resource Guide - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is with sincere gratitude that the Graduate Studies in Education Department acknowledges the efforts of candidates, faculty, administrators, technical and support staff in the creation of this M.Ed. Resource Guide. It is a publication designed to help communicate the unique features of this M.Ed. program in a way that is both cogent to the program as a whole and yet applicable to everyday situations. This Resource Guide is a compilation of many months of creativity, synergy, and analysis of the M.Ed. program by literally hundreds of individuals associated with the University.

Indiana Wesleyan University has received national praise from several prestigious organizations regarding our program. We know that this recognition of the quality inherent in our conceptual framework, integrated core coursework, and assessment practices is a direct result of the selfless attention to details provided to us by so many. Simply saying "Thank you" seems somehow too shallow to express our true appreciation of the high caliber of excellence exhibited by everyone connected with this program, yet those two words must somehow suffice.

While it is not possible to thank everyone by name for their dedication in producing this document, special mention must go to the members of the 2001-2002 Curriculum Task Force who are listed below. These individuals, along with Dr. Keith Iddings and Dr. David Wright, also served as contributing authors of this document. It has been my personal pleasure to write and to edit the M.Ed. Resource Guide. As a department, it is our hope that its readers find the information useful and thought-provoking, and that through our efforts as aided by the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ will be honored to the glory of God the Father.
