Faculty and staff

Indiana Wesleyan University is a community of scholars whose purpose is to create a Christ-centered educational climate where students are equipped to be world-changers through life-long learning and service. The Graduate Education program's primary purpose is to prepare highly qualified teachers and administrators for the elementary, middle, junior high, and senior high levels of public and private education. Within the framework of a Christian system of values, the department stresses excellence in performance and the integration of faith and learning. Aspiring principals will be equipped as visionary servant leaders through school-based adult learning experiences focusing on facilitating a culture of continuous improvement and successful learning for all students and adults.

The staff of IWU's Division of Graduate Education knows that people involved in education are special people called to a special task. With the growing school-age population, the demand for school leaders will be even greater. The need is real and the demand for excellence is crucial.

We realize students need professional advice at each step in their education, from the first day to determine if they qualify to enroll and what they need to do to complete the PLP program, to help with completing their portfolio project at the end of their course work. IWU has knowledgeable and experienced men and women who will help interns successfully work through each step of the Principal Licensure Program.
