About the Program
Founded in 1920, Indiana Wesleyan University is a Christian, comprehensive university committed to liberal arts and professional education. Through innovative degree programs for adult and residential students, IWU has become one of the fastest-growing private universities in America. More than 14,000 students are enrolled in programs at over 80 locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, and online, leading to certificate, undergraduate and graduate degrees. Indiana Wesleyan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission* and a member of the North Central Association.
The curriculum and instruction leading to an Associate of Science degree with a major in Christian Ministries develops the understanding and skills of a ministerial world changer. Students prepare for increased effectiveness in Christian churches and para-church organizations. This in-depth education from a Wesleyan-Arminian perspective serves well those individuals who desire to understand and serve the Christ of our faith.
Spiritual leaders face challenges every day. Your skills and knowledge must broaden to match the difficulties plaguing our world. As the demands of modern-day ministry continue to evolve, your ongoing effectiveness will be directly linked to your commitment to growing personally, spiritually, and professionally.
