About the Program

Founded in 1920, Indiana Wesleyan University is a Christian, comprehensive university committed to liberal arts and professional education. Through innovative degree programs for adult and residential students, IWU has become one of the fastest-growing private universities in America. More than 14,000 students are enrolled in programs at over 80 locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, and online, leading to certificate, undergraduate and graduate degrees. Indiana Wesleyan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission* and a member of the North Central Association.

The curriculum and instruction leading to an Associate of Science degree with a major in Chrisitan Ministries is designed to further develop the skills of a ministerial world changer. Students will be prepared for service in Christian churches and para-church organizations and provide in-depth education from a Wesleyan-Arminian perspective in Bible for individuals who desire to understand and serve the Christian faith.

As a spiritual leader, the challenges you face change daily. Your skills and knowledge must broaden to match the difficulties plaguing the world. As the demands of modern-day ministry continue to evolve, your ongoing effectiveness will be directly linked to your commitment to growing spiritually and professionally.
