About the Program

The Bachelor of Science degree program with a major in Biblical Studies is designed to prepare students for service in Christian churches and para-church organizations for individuals who desire to understand and or serve the Christian faith. Program objectives include the ability of students to understand and be able to communicate a Christian worldview and Biblical morality and have a solid grasp of the Biblical principles associated with the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition. Also students will be able to compare and contrast the various schools of Biblical interpretation and assess the strengths and weaknesses of each school. Lastly, students will know how to apply the principles and techniques taught in Biblical literature.

As a spiritual leader, the challenges you face change daily. Your skills and knowledge must broaden to match the difficulties plaguing the world. As the demands of modern-day ministry continue to evolve, your ongoing effectiveness will be directly linked to your commitment to growing spiritually and professionally.
