Application Procedures

To be considered for admission to Indiana Wesleyan University’s Bachelor of Science with a major in Addictions Counseling online degree program, complete the following steps. For more information, please contact a Program Representative at (800) 895-0036 or aes@indwes.edu.
  1. Application
    Complete all sections of the application form found at https://secure.indwes.edu/Apply/APS/BSADC_Application.asp.
  2. Application Fee
    A one-time, non-refundable $25 application fee must be included with your application. The $25 fee will be waived if paid with a previous program application. The fee is payable by check, credit card, or debit card.
  3. Transcripts
    Official transcripts are required from each undergraduate regionally accredited institution attended. Indiana Wesleyan University will accept for its permanent file only those transcripts sent in a sealed envelope directly to IWU by the registrar of each institution attended. Official transcripts must exhibit the official seal and signature of the registrar. Transcripts that are stamped "student copy," "issued to student," or "unofficial" cannot be accepted as official.
  4. TOEFL Scores
    Please submit a copy of your TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores if English is not your primary language. For more information about this test, visit www.toefl.org.

Once all application materials have been received, your records will be evaluated and you will receive notice of your status. When it is determined that you qualify for admission, you will be contacted regarding available class start dates.
