Registration and Grades FAQ

Indiana Wesleyan University continues to serve the professional men and women in our program through a "user-friendly" registration process. The registration process takes place the first night on-site for core programs; the completion of this process will register you for the entire core. Online students are registered via forms completed two weeks prior to a program start or an elective begin date.

IWU policy mandates that students may not enter or re-enter a class which is in progress, is over, or is within seven days of starting. Students needing to make a schedule change or canceling a schedule change must allow adequate time to meet the seven day deadline policy.

What if I need to withdraw?
I miss or am late to class?
I move?
How can I re-enter after I withdraw?
do I get my grades, and when?
can I receive a transcript?
am I guaranteed my information is kept private?
Whom do I call to change any of my personal information?

What do I do if I need to withdraw?

Call a Withdrawal Specialist at 1-765-677-2877 or email registration.change@indwes.edu. The withdrawal can be taken over the phone.  Students who are financial aid recipients will be directed to the Financial Aid Office to determine the effect of the withdrawal on financial aid.

Withdrawing from a class will affect tuition and grades as follows:

Withdrawal takes place prior to class start 100% refund of tuition; course does not appear on permanent record.
Withdrawal takes place after one class session or during first workshop/week of an online course 90% refund of tuition: course appears on permanent record with a grade of "W."
Withdrawal takes place after two class sessions or after first workshop/week on an online course no refund of tuition: course appears on permanent record with a grade of "W."
